We have numerous staff (including our owner, who is celiac) that have either dietary and/or allergen restrictions. We understand that every person’s preferences and needs are different and we work hard to accommodate each of our customers.
In fact, we allow deep customization on much of our menu items for these purposes.
We are committed to have a variety of dietary options for those that are seeking GLUTEN FREE (GF), DAIRY FREE (DF), NUT FREE (NF), VEGETARIAN (V), and VEGAN (V+). As referenced here, we have labeled almost every menu item – both online and in-store. While we have a variety of soups, sandwiches, and salads that fit these categories, we will always have options for each these preferences in our Market Sides case. We highly recommend checking them out on a monthly basis as they do rotate. We work hard to ensure that they are tasty regardless of the dietary restrictions!
All of this said, there are some obvious limitations to what is possible.
Blackberry Market makes every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies. Every effort is made to instruct our employees on the severity of food allergies. In addition, we label items with possible allergen-containing ingredients; however, there is always a risk of contamination and/or something being labeled incorrectly. If a menu item seems “in question” – please do not hesitate to verify with a staff member. There is also a possibility that manufacturers of the ingredients we use could change the formulation at any time, without notice. Customers concerned with food allergies need to be aware of these risks.Lastly, please be aware we do not have allergen free ovens or kitchen space. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
